IOZone v3.83 over NFS with 4096 block size

IOZone Configuration:
    Using maximum file size of 524288 kilobytes.
    Excel chart generation enabled
    Auto Mode
    Include close in write timing
    Command line used: /usr/local/bin/iozone -g 512M -f /mnt/storage/testfile -Rac output
    Output is in Kbytes/sec
    Time Resolution = 0.000005 seconds.
    Processor cache size set to 1024 Kbytes.
    Processor cache line size set to 32 bytes.
    File stride size set to 17 * record size.

NFS Server Configuration:
    RedHat 7.3 with 2.418-4smp
    Using NFSv3

    Server was run with default buffer size.
    Default buffer size:
    rmem_default = 65535
    rmem_max = 131071


   
Server was run with sixteen instances of nfsd.

    Filesystems tested were Ext3 and ReiserFS with notails.

NFS Client Configuration:
    FreeBSD 4.6
    Dell PowerEdge 1650
    Dual 1.1GHz Pentium 3 CPUS
    1G of RAM
   
    NFS drive was mounted with rsize and wsize limits(block sizes).
    rsize=wsize=4096
